Cracked Teeth

Teeth that have been compromised physically will worsen over time and can result in further damage and additional complications. Depending on the cause we might recommend various options.

A broken or chipped tooth typically requires same-day repair. Depending on the extent of the damage, our Angel Dental Care dentists may recommend one of the following treatments:

Group 3133

Composite bonding

Group 3134

Tooth-coloured filling

Group 3135

Porcelain crown

Group 3136

Root canal therapy

Group 3137

Emergency extraction

If you have a broken tooth fragment, store it in a sealed container or zip-top bag. Keep it moist by covering it with milk, contact solution, or tap water (with a pinch of salt.) Bring it to our office straightaway to try to have it bonded back into place.

Bridges

Bridges are a proven and effective way to replace 1-2 teeth at a time, as long as you have a healthy tooth on either side of the gap. The bridge itself is made to resemble 3-4 natural teeth in a row, but either end is a crown that rests over the supporting tooth.

Like crowns, bridges can be integrated with a pair of dental implants for multi-tooth replacement.
